Adam Lambert Track on The '2012' Movie Soundtrack?

If this is true, it would mean a world wide debut for Adam Lambert. This could launch his career into overdrive.. provided the movie turns out to be a hit!

The speculation begins with a post made on the blog of the Meatloaf drummer John Miceli July 21st.

I just finished a track with Adam Lambert and Rob Cavallo (producer) for the movie 2012. What a great tune and amazing vocals.

We can also look back to a recent interview posted last week on EOnline. Where Adam reveals a secret! Apparently he recorded all day wednesday in L.A.

Leo: Adam, how are you working on the record on the road?
Adam: It's been double duty, and it's been rough. I recorded all day yesterday [Wednesday] in L.A. But that's a secret. It's not for my record, possibly for a soundtrack. That's all I can say. It's not for New Moon, but that would be cool. It's a lot of work. It's like, OK go tour, go record, go write, go do press and photo shoots. But I stay pretty cool under pressure. They have a masseuse backstage, and that helps.

Now with even one more thing to throw in. Lambert says there have been talks of a world wide debut in this American idols Live backstage interview at the Staples Center in LA.
